Phineas Cricket
Phineas Cricket is an indie writer based in New Mexico. He writes mainly for young people.
Phineas was blessed with adventurous parents who made sure he had an interesting childhood. He attended kindergarten in Libya, primary school in Australia, seventh grade in America, eighth grade in Singapore, ninth grade in Malaysia, and high school in England. Which might explain why he is so mixed up.
After graduating from the University of Chicago, he worked as a teacher for a number of years. Later he became a vagabond. He wrote The Legend of Robin Goodfellow while wandering the New Mexican desert in his pickup and living in a 13-foot trailer. Nowadays he’s happy to stay in one place, and to spend his time reading and writing—but he’s still a wanderer at heart.
“Phineas Cricket” is a pen name.
